Everything Bad is Good for You: Games
I found that the way that the author turned books to be something so negative was very interesting. You never hear about any one putting down books, all you really hear is that more people need read. In my chemistry class my sophomore year in high school my teacher put up a webpage on the board that was talking about a new dangerous discovery. It was saying that studies showed that if you had too much of this certain product that you will die, and went on and on about it. It ended up only being water. What my teacher was trying to prove is that you cannot trust and rely on everything you find on the internet. However I think that this article and website are sort of the same idea. So far
Our project is all about how the technology in our community is distracting. Hayley is saying the distraction is affecting relationships, and I am doing how the technology is affecting schoolwork. The technology we observed that was the main distraction was the game console Xbox360. So far my partner and I have set up how how project is going tobe presented and organized. All that we have left to do is just plan out how to make the presentation ten minuetes long and exactly what we are going to say to accomplish this.
